Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, LLP, was established in 1980 and has offices in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
We offer a comprehensive and proactive approach to income, estate, business and investment planning . Our professionals deliver high quality services, consistent with those found at large firms, but with local firm availability and attentiveness. We are proud of our technical expertise and ability to blend the technical, the practical and the business approach in each engagement we undertake.

We are proud to be a member of IGAF Worldwide is one of the oldest, largest, and most well respected accounting networks in the world, comprised of over 140 highly successful independent public accounting firms in 60 countries. Through IGAF Worldwide, member firms offer the strength and capabilities of a large, worldwide organization with technical depth and geographic reach impossible for a local firm alone.

In addition, our firm is a member of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms Practice Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), as well as the private companies division.  As a result, we are subject to Peer Review examination under the supervision of the AICPA.  We believe that this helps to demonstrate our commitment to providing the highest quality of professional services available. We are also registered with the PCAOB, a private-sector, non-profit corporation, created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, to oversee the auditors of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors.

 We are a member of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. This membership is only open to accounting firms that demonstrate a commitment to quality audits of pension, health and 401(k) plans subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”) under the authority of the U.S. Department of Labor (“DOL”).

Community and Professional Involvement

As a Firm we realize the importance of giving back tour community. The Firm has a long history of leadership and contribution to civic and charitable organizations in both of the cities where we maintain offices. Richard Berkowitz, BDPB Managing Director, has served as Treasurer of several local political campaigns including the Inaugural Campaign for Mayor Manny Diaz and the Re-Election Campaign for Mayor Diaz as well as the Re-Election Campaign for Commissioner Johnny Winton.
