Experience :
Mr. Dichter focuses his practice in international tax. He counsels U.S. individuals and companies with operations abroad as well as foreign individuals and corporations with operations in the United States. Mr. Dichter is experienced in both inbound and outbound matters, cross border issues, U.S. tax compliance requirements of international investments, income tax treaties, international assignments, and mergers and acquisitions. He also assists U.S. and foreign individuals and companies with the acquisition of U.S. and non-U.S. companies. This work includes consulting on the structuring and assisting with the implementation and compliance related to such acquisitions. He also structures expansion projects, which includes an analysis of holding company structures, as well as analyzing the optimal relocation of management personnel. Mr. Dichter is also experienced in pre-immigration tax planning for high net worth foreign individuals, including planning their investments in U.S. real property, planning for U.S. estate and gift tax considerations and assisting with U.S. tax compliance requirements.
