Richard A. Berkowitz serves as Managing Director of Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant and has served in this position since the firm’s inception in 1980. The firm has consistently been recognized by INSIDE Public Accounting (formerly Bowman’s Accounting Report) as one of the best managed accounting firms in the U.S. The Firm is also one of the largest public accounting firms in South Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the United States.

In addition to his role as Managing Director, Mr. Berkowitz continues to serve clients. He focuses his practice in strategic and management planning for businesses and professional firms; mergers and acquisitions; international business and tax planning; and domestic tax and financial planning for businesses and individuals.

Mr. Berkowitz is an expert in dispute resolution. An experienced certified mediator, he has twenty-five years of experience as an arbitrator and has qualified as an expert witness in tax and business issues in the U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Circuit Courts of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Leon Counties.
