At Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant we offer two internship programs: a 3 month, one-Department experience for the rising senior or 5th year student who already has a practice area in mind, and a Summer Rotational Internship for the rising sophomore and junior accounting student who wants to explore all service areas of the Firm. Both experiences will give you the opportunity to:
  • Gain valuable on the job training experience in accounting, audit, forensic and consulting services as well as assurance, tax and business advisory service
  • Serve a diverse client base
  • Work with team oriented professionals
As a one-Departmental intern for the Tax Services department you will have the opportunity to gain on the job training experience with
  • Business tax solutions
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Individual tax planning
  • Estate and tax planning compliance
  • International taxation
  • State and local taxation

As a one Departmental intern in Audit or Forensic Services you will support your clients’ efforts by providing a broad array of services including:
  • Business advisory
  • Assurance and consulting
  • Litigation and business valuation


As a Summer Rotational intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and explore all service areas of the Firm and its affiliates.


Duration:

Our Fall Departmental internships run from September to December. Spring Departmental interns are employed beginning in early January to April. The Summer Departmental internships run from the beginning of June until August.

The Summer Rotational Internship runs for a total of two months. During the two months, Rotational interns transition between tax, assurance/audit and forensic service areas every two weeks.

Requirements:

To qualify for a one-Department internship you must:
  • Have a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Be a third year undergraduate student
  • Major in accounting or tax

To qualify for a Summer Rotational internship you must:
  • Have a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Be a second or third year undergraduate student
  • Major in accounting or tax
