College Students
BDPB actively recruits from Florida International University, the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University and the University of Florida. We usually conduct on-campus interviews in the fall semester each year for students with a start date in the following year. Also, we meet with college candidates at the University of Florida, Florida International University and the University of Miami in the spring.
Advice and Information
The placement offices at FIU and UM do not provide resumes to potential employers until after their career fairs. Try to get your resume into your respective placement office's internal system by the time of the career fair at your campus.
Your initial interview will be conducted by one of the directors of BDPB. (Directors at our firm are the equivalent of partners at other firms.) Typically, Richard A. Berkowitz, Managing Director and Richard A. Pollack, Director of Litigation are the interviewers on-campus. After the first interview, you may be invited to visit the office. The visit usually goes from morning to mid-afternoon. One of the highlights is a lunch for all the candidates and a number of consultants from BDPB. After the office visit, the BDPB consultants meet to discuss offers.
Our philosophy in hiring is to seek those individuals who will excel in an organization that is fueled as much by intellectual pursuit as it is by entrepreneurial spirit.
If you would like to contact us about a position with the firm, and you are not a student at one of the colleges listed above, please submit your resume to careers@bdpb.com.
